Yes, and this is the point. Items with serial numbers are tracked as individual units with their own condition and service history. Interchangeable items are tracked as a quantity per location. Both live in the same catalogue.
A deposit is recorded against its own ledger as money you are holding on the customer's behalf — never counted as revenue until it is deducted. You can deduct against documented damage or late fees and refund the balance, with every movement recorded.
Yes. At check-out you record condition with photos and meter readings; at check-in you run an inspection checklist, capture the return condition, and the system computes late fees, damage and consumable charges before settling the deposit.
The current release is built for staff-operated, counter-based businesses — the people who run the rental take the booking. A public catalogue and customer self-service portal are on the roadmap.
Rentiqo is self-hosted, so your data stays on your own server. There are no per-user fees and no limits imposed from outside your installation.
